Supervision

As a counselling supervisor for NZAC Members, I am committed to providing a supportive and enriching experience for counsellors. Through collaborative supervision, supervisees can reflect on their practice, expand their skills, and address ethical dilemmas - all with the goal of enabling them to work safely, ethically, and to their fullest potential.

I have over a decade of direct counselling experience and another decade of working with people in various roles, including as parent educator, cross-cultural researcher and advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights.

While my original training was in narrative therapy and post-structural ideas of change, I have since expanded my practice and now also incorporate other modalities in my work such as CBT, DBT, Trauma-CBT and schema work.

I am a proud feminist and have a particular interest in structural disadvantage, discrimination and resilience.

As per NZAC guidelines you are welcome to get in touch to see if we’re a good fit before committing to ongoing work.

I am also committed to my own supervision and find great value in regular meetings - I always leave feeling enriched and motivated.
